ABOUT
Writer-director Megan Ritchie is currently staffed on season 2 of SUGAR, starring Colin Farrell, on Apple+. She also recently wrote an episode of season 2 of SEVERANCE, the Emmy-winning television show on Apple+, out January 2025.
Ritchie's feature script THAT WOMAN, which tells the story of the worst day in White House intern Monica Lewinsky's young life, was a 2020 Academy Nicholl Quarterfinalist. She is the writer/director/producer of two short films, IN THE POOL (2017) and SNIFF (2021), which had its world debut at the Monmouth Film Festival.
She has previously worked on FX’s Y: THE LAST MAN and Starz' AMERICAN GODS, as well as with writers Sam Catlin, Marti Noxon, Zak Penn, Stacy Rukeyser, Chris Weitz and Paul Weitz. Prior to transitioning to writing and directing, Ritchie was a development executive at Depth of Field.
An alumna of Macalester College, Ritchie is an excessively proud native of Minnesota. In the past, she's found herself living in Poland and China, but she currently calls Los Angeles home. She loves rollercoasters and every goddamn animal on the planet. Yes, even snakes.
